Introduction
Today, we are reviewing a 360 mm variant of an AIO cooler from the Phanteks Glacier One 360 T30 Gen2. We didn’t check any of their products, except the chassis (like, for example, the Enthoo 719) and the 1200 W 80 Plus Platinum PSU. There are two sizes to choose from this Glacier One T30 V2 series:
- 240 mm
- 360 mm (the one reviewed here)
There are no color variants. The Phanteks Glacier One 360 T30 Gen2 uses an All-in-One formula, with a radiator and pump coupled into a single loop and aided by fans (3 x 120 mm). Speaking of fans, they are PWM-controlled 120 mm T30-120 units with various modes of the rpm range. You can choose:
- Advanced Mode, with a maximum speed of 3000 rpm
- Performance Mode (which most of the users will probably set), with a max rpm of 2000 rpm
- Hybrid Mode, with semi-passive operation and a maximum of 1200 rpm.
They are made of glass fiber-reinforced Liquid Crystal Polymer, featuring a 3-phase motor. The fans should provide a fast heat transfer thanks to their high static pressure and good performance. The maximum airflow/air pressure/sound levels are as follows:
- Advanced Mode – 101 CFM/0.28 inch H20/39.7 dBA
- Performance Mode – 67 CFM/0.13 inch H20/27.3 dBA
- Hybrid Mode – 39.1 CFM/0.05 inch H20/11.1 dBA
In the first generation of the T30, the radiator was 38 mm thick; now it’s 30 mm. This time, the 8th generation of the Asetek pump is used, as opposed to the 7th generation in the predecessor.
The radiator sizes are 400 (L) x 120 (W) x 30 (H) mm (L x W x H). The tube length is 400 mm/15.74 in, it’s sleeved (braided) and has three tube clips that are possible to install. The Phanteks Glacier One 360 T30 Gen2 is compatible with the following CPU sockets:
- AMD – AM5, AM4
- Intel – 1700/1200/115x
As for the lighting effects, the major brands’ software is supported. The lighting for the pump’s D-RGB Infinity Mirror can be adjusted via a 5 V ARGB header on the motherboard to sync it all up. We want to underline that we’re using the i9 13900K Raptor Lake processor to check the cooler and AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (previously, the systems had Intel Core i9 12900K and Ryzen 7 3700X). Phanteks Glacier One 360 T30 Gen2 is sold at an MSRP of 259.99 USD. The warranty period is six years, which is great compared to most of the competition. So, let’s head to the specs/feature page, shall we?
