The review
Xiaomi recently has introduced the G27i gaming monitor, marking its first foray into the gaming monitor market in Asia, they're now slowly making a move towards the EU and USA with their affordable but quality products. The Xiaomi G27i monitor we review today is competitively priced aiming to attract gamers with its balance of performance and affordability. The monitor boasts a 27-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080, enhancing gameplay and dynamic visuals paired with a nice 165Hz refresh rate. Mind that the monitor is based on an IPS panel, this is not a VA panel. Adding to its gaming-centric features, the monitor supports AMD's FreeSync Premium technology (Adaptive sync), which helps in reducing screen tearing and stuttering, providing a smoother visual experience. Additionally, it features a low blue light filter to minimize eye strain during prolonged gaming sessions or work. The design of the monitor is sleek, with a slim stand that includes cable management solutions. It also adheres to the VESA mounting standard, allowing for flexible mounting options on various arm and wall setups. In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi G27i launched at an official yet slightly high price of $139 USD. If you look a bit harder, you'll find this monitor at street prices in the 120 EUR/USD range. This pricing strategy positions the Xiaomi G27i as an accessible option for gamers who are seeking a high-performance monitor at a lower cost.

Affordability combined with advanced technical specifications makes the Xiaomi G27i an attractive option for both gaming enthusiasts and professional users who require high refresh rates and rapid response times for a seamless visual experience. The one downside is of course panel size versus resolution, the dots per inch ratio isn't very good. The monitor comes pre-calibrated out of the box targeting a nice 2 ΔE or lower.
