It's excellent for enhancing the performance of gaming consoles and editing stations.  USB 3.2 Gen2x2, highlighting its capability to achieve remarkable speeds of up to 2000 MB/s. This device marks a significant advancement from traditional mechanical hard drives, offering both high speed and substantial storage capacity. To have your host device (PC/laptop etc) supports the 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard to achieve the maximum speed; Apple devices are capped at 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2. While Lexar provides a software toolkit for managing the device, it might be superfluous for those who already have similar tools. Nonetheless, such a toolkit can be beneficial for maintaining the SSD's performance.
