Today, we are reviewing a 240 mm AIO cooler from the Hyte called THICC Q60. Till now, we “only” had a chance to check the chassis from that manufacturer; they were called Revolt 3, Y60, Y40, and Y70 Touch. Besides that, this company, the sister brand of iBUYPOWER, offers a keyboard, desk pads, case fans, and a headset. The only size of this AIO offered now is 240 mm, but the THICC Q80 (with 360 mm radiator) was already announced/presented at the Computex (and we hope we’ll get a sample). Hyte THICC Q60 is an AIO with not the typical 52-60 mm radiator/fan(s) combo, but rather 84 mm. That’s massive! Additionally, you get a 5” IPS display with a 60 Hz Refresh Rate and 720 x 1280 resolution (293 PPI), which is the “rotated” HD. The Hyte THICC Q60 uses an All-in-One formula, with a radiator and pump coupled into a single loop and aided by fans (3 x 120 mm). Speaking of fans, they are PWM-controlled, Fluid Dynamic Bearing 120 mm units (32 mm thick)—named THICC FP12. The rpm range is 0-3000 rpm, static pressure is 8.14 mmH20, airflow is 105.08 CFM, and noise is up to 47.3 dB(A). The radiator sizes are 288 (L) x 120 (W) x 52 (H) mm (L x W x H), so it’s almost double as thick as the typical AIOs (27 mm). You can find the case compatibility chart on the Hyte website. The cold plate dimensions are 56 x 56 x 1.5 mm. The tube (made from CIIR Rubber with Nylon Sleeving) length is 400 mm/15.74 in. Hyte makes dual-harmonic pumps with 2000-4500 rpm, ceramic bearing, and 24 mm impeller diameter. The Hyte THICC Q60 is compatible with the following CPU sockets:
The Nexus software from Hyte manages the lighting effects. We want to underline that we’re using the i9 13900K Raptor Lake processor to check the cooler and AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (previously, the systems had Intel Core i9 12900K and Ryzen 7 3700X). Hyte THICC Q60 is sold for 299.99 USD. The warranty period is six years, which is great compared to most of the competition. So, let’s head to the specs/feature page, shall we?
