The motherboard retains the M-Vision Dashboard from the X670E series, placed near the memory slots. It offers expansion capabilities with two PCIe Gen 5.0 slots and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. For storage, it includes five M.2 slots—two Gen5 and three Gen4—equipped with M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks for cooling, the primary one featuring a magnetic lock and RGB lighting. It also has four SATA III ports and two USB3 front panel headers. For connectivity, the I/O section has eight USB Type-C ports—seven on the back and one on the front that supports 60W Power Delivery via an additional 8-pin connector. The rear ports offer varying speeds up to 40Gbps, and the board features advanced networking options, including dual ports and WiFi 7, along with additional USB ports enabled by stacked PCB layers.
Additionally, the motherboard includes another 8-pin connector near the dual X870E PCHs to supply extra power for advanced uses like multi-GPU setups with NVIDIA's upcoming RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs.
