Direct download from CPU-z website got flagged for a virus by Microsoft Defender (zip version). Download from Guru3d seemed fine (this is actually still the 2.09 version, not the new one). For version 2.10 (cpuid.com). Seems it was false positive.

false positive (since 2.9 something), update your defender database it is corrected since. Also, yes the zip is 2.9 but it is the 2.10. (Hilbert you can udpate the link too lol)

Yes was false positive, had 3 days old definiton files. Always gets you into action though, when you get the notification pop up.

On my side it's ok on G3D author and G3D mirror and on the author site download... Maybe try this last one... If it may help.

After a definition update of Windows Defender, it's downloadable and no troubles with false positive or anything for me.
