Product exterior Showcase
Some more exterior pictures are below. The quality is very good; the chassis has a textured paint (which should be resistant to fingerprints).
This unit delivers enough power for most daily users. It has a single +12 V rail with a total of 1000 W (83.33 A), so it should manage even an RTX 4090.
Below, you can find a list of the supplied cables:
- 1x 24-pin ATX cable (600 mm)
- 2x 4+4-pin EPS cable (700 mm)
- 2x 6+2-pin PCI-e cable (650 mm)
- 1x 12+4 PCIe (700 mm)
- 2x Quad SATA cable (500+155+155+155mm)
- 1x SATA+Molex cable (500+155+155 mm)
- 1x SATA+Molex+Floppy cable (500+155+155 mm)
Here, you can see the entire bunch.
Some of you will enjoy the view. The cables are all black and should fit most users’ needs. All connectors, including the SATA and Molex cables, are ribbon-like. The only one with a classic sleeve is the PCIe 5.0 12WHPWR cable.
They are sufficient in terms of number and length as well. Six sets of 6+2 pin PCIe cables measuring 760 mm are included. The 24-pin ATX motherboard cable is 60 cm long, whereas the 8-pin ATX CPU leads are 70 cm long. SATA is 965 mm long . These cables are modular, so you won’t have to plug in the ones you don’t need in your system, reducing cable clutter in your PC. According to the manufacturer, we should find quality components inside, so let’s open it up.
FSP Hydro PTM X Pro is a compact unit (130 mm long) with a rather attractive-looking power supply with a nonrestrictive fan grill. The 11 modular power connectors are grouped and tagged.
There is an on/off switch and a push-button to turn the semi-passive fan operation on/off (called Eco). The main socket for the power supply cable is in the typical C13 standard. Next page, please.
