ASUS recently expanded its product lineup with the introduction of the NUC 14 Pro and Pro+ models, marking its first foray into the NUC mini-PC market following the acquisition of the NUC brand from Intel. These models were showcased alongside the previously announced ROG NUC at CES 2024.

The NUC 14 Pro and Pro+ are powered by Intel's Meteor Lake processors, with the NUC 14 Pro equipped with up to an Intel Core 7 Ultra 165H processor, while the Pro+ variant can be configured with up to an Intel Core 9 Ultra 185H processor. The Pro+ model also features a larger chassis to accommodate the more powerful components.

Both models integrate Intel's Arc GPU, which is embedded within the Meteor Lake processors, offering enhanced graphics performance suitable for professional and casual use. The systems support extensive memory capabilities with two DDR5-SO-DIMM slots, allowing for up to 96GB of RAM. This feature caters to users requiring substantial memory for intensive applications.

Storage options are robust in both models, including two M.2 slots for SSDs—one accommodating the M.2-2280 format and the other for M.2-2242 SSDs. The NUC 14 Pro also has a Tall version that provides additional space for a 2.5-inch storage drive, expanding its versatility in storage solutions.
